Repairing Rails on Cars

Rails – The thin panels above the doors that connects to the roof on each side of the vehicle.

When hail damages the rails on an automobile, it can be very difficult to repair. Access is very limited if not completely restricted. This is why an up-charge is typically added to the panel price for PDR. When PDR is used, it is almost always a combination of the glue pulling method and blending.

Rails are repaired conventionally when the damage exceeds PDR limits.
